Heart Pains

Why do I feel alone?

I'm surrounded by family.

I'm surrounded by friends.

But I'm still alone.

My heart aches

I receive attention,

But not the love I crave.

To be embraced,

To hear my desires

Please, hear me.

I need him,

His soft touch,

His devotion.

Please let me know that I'm not alone in my desires.

My heart.

Please

It's all I can say

Please

If I voice my desires,

If I voice my pain,

They will not understand.

Come

Hear my pleas

Come

My love

My comfort

I refuse to cut my pain

I refuse to harm

Myself

You

Hear me

Before I fade

Hold my heart

Hold me close

Rhythm

Heartbeat

Peace, sweet serenity

Sleep

Dreams
