Heart Puncher

Impaled in the heart by arrows,

Pierced by perpetual harrows.

Sent by the archer demonic,

With false persuasive words sonic.

The cruel archer watched with pleasure,

As the man beheld a treasure.

With her beauty he was taken,

But he was really mistaken.

Imagining a perfect date,

That toward this person won't be hate.

Romantic feast marinaded,

Beloved rose serenaded.

Under an agonizing spell,

Induced by the demon from hell.

To others it spread the virus,

To both man and woman's iris.

An attached parasitic leech,

Provoking every painful screech.

From the wound the heart is bleeding,

Due to all high hopes misleading.

Hole puncher punched all of the hearts,

Heart shaped hole puncher cuts and starts.

Apertures shaped like the organ,

They'll never feel the same again.

So much the cursed ones expected,

Since they were all first infected.

Love desired never received,

Multiple hearts - all self-deceived.

Mismatched socks can never be worn,

Now the hearts will only be torn.

Imagined children left unborn,

To a world that now appears scorn.
