Heart at Risk

I put my heart at risk,

when I let you in,

I let you break me,

till it ended.

Now because of you i fear love.

I shouldn't have never let you in.

It was dumb of me to listen to your lies.

You told me you would never leave me, now look nowhere to be found,

when you broke me, I became stronger,

but it t's hard for me to give my heart to someone because I'm afraid of finding someone like you,

And I refuse to be hurt, over and over, again,

to avoid the hurt you put me through.
