Heart Smile

I’ve seen the light at the end of that long long struggle

Next time around I’m going to take it nice slow, real real subtle

I felt my heart smile, I never want to feel that again anytime soon.

Hadn’t felt that in a while, now it’s all dried out like a grape finally pruned

Nothings ever too good to be true, a lesson learned

A blessing in disguise, crashed and burned

I’ll take that blame, I’ll take the fault

I’ll cry your tears, I’ll think your thoughts

I messed this up I know that’s true

But nothing made me happier than the time spent with you

Saved those messages so I can have something to look back on

The laughs, the smile, that connection is all gone

And if I could go back in time lord knows I would

I’d tell you the truth as I been should
