Heart of stone

In the shadows I stand alone By this heart of solid stone And wait for it to start to beat So I won't accept defeat When the sun begins to rise I'll wait once more for my demise And I'll cry out for all to see What this heart could never be And with it's failure driven deep This heart must know its time to sleep Finding dreams all far away Nightmares bring this heart to its final day
