Heart Translplant

I think you planted some kind of poison in me

My skin burns, eyesite so cloudy to see

Metamorphically you changed my composition

Body aches too much to move from this position.

Now you're just a phantom pain.

I struggle to break out, you've infected my lungs

Heart too heavy,      brain going numb

Now I'm asking for relief

                               drugs to ease the pain.

Nothing else is working and I always feel the same.

I now show the nasty scar

Patch me up,         I'll try to run far

Remove the IV

                         please let me go

Marks of your love will always show

Now you're just a phantom pain.
