Heartache
You’ve made me laugh,
You’ve made me cry.
All of these emotions are just too hard to keep inside.
Why can’t you see that we are made for each other?
You’ve had my heart,
And you still do have it.
Yes you did make it shatter;
But now you are picking up the pieces.
You’re putting them all back to the way they used to be.
No cracks, no seems;
You’re fixing my heart perfectly.
But just when I think that things are looking up
I come to the realization that maybe
I’m just too hopeful.
All of these emotions
They are running around in my heart.
It hurts to love you;
But I just can’t seem to stop.
I can’t and I won’t give up on us.
