Heartbeat

Pain in the streets as people fight

Pain in the office as terminations surround

Pain in the classroom when the sixth letter rolls around

All around is pain

But then I hear your heartbeat and your hand.

My heart falls in rhythm as I glaze into your eyes.

Agonizing trauma no man nor woman could feel

Pulsating brain telling me to die

But then I feel your heartbeat and hand

My heart falls in rhythm as I glaze into your eyes.

Liberating me from my cries of agony

The screeching has stopped

Voices calling me weak, sad existent no more

But then I sense your heartbeat and hand

My heart falls in rhythm as I glaze into your eyes

All of my evils around me die

For you are my beauty and you truly are divine
