Heartbeat of Petals

The way your eyes sparkle,

with such passion for life.

The way your touch electrifies my skin.

The way your voice, calm and sincere,

creates a symphony of velvet waves to my ears.

The waves of love, which pull me in,

fills my heart with an unprecedented yearning to sail.

To sail on the seas of the deepest red roses.

The roses that shower me with security.

The roses that envelope my soul.

The roses that induces a lovesick coma.

No plucking petals.

No what ifs?

With each heartbeat, the petals grow in number.

With each heartbeat, the petals lift my spirit.

Lifted on the wings of a dove.

The white dove that draws me to you.
