Heartbreak

When our storm came you left
at the first sight of rain
leaving me here to deal
with all this pain
So i wiped my tears and began
a new life without you.
Someday you'll miss me, but it will
be too late for us to be
but whenever you get discouraged
about why we're through
just look in the mirror
because it's all on you.
I hope next time you learn from you mistakes
always remember this: I love you
but i love me more
I had to learn that when you
walked out the door.
