Hearts Bigger Than a Boulder

I forgive. I forgive you even when your the last person who deserves my forgiveness.

Because that's what I do. My heart is bigger than a boulder. The weight.

Its so strong, how can one learn to live with all the secrets I've been told to keep.

All the life stories I've been told to learn from

All the lies, the truths. All of it. Every single snide comment or remark you've said behind my back.

All the emotional damage you think your trying to cause, it only makes me stronger.

Because what you don't know is, my heart. Its bigger than a boulder.

Its stronger than the strongest bit of granite or the slightest bit of diamond.

It may crack. But those cracks heal. Then it continues to get stronger. And stronger.

Until finally, your words are nothing but a speck of dust for me to brush off and keep walking with my head high.

My head just high enough that my ego isn't big but I am above those who hate.

They call them haters, I call them builders.

I've learned how to get back up when I'm pushed down.

I've learned how to how to fight back when the fight is necessary.

Because I am strong, with a heart bigger than a boulder. I accept even if you've done me wrong.

Because that's what God would do. God accepts no matter who you are. You stab me in the back,

I heal the stab and move on.

Because when I fall, I don't just fall and break down.

I fly.

I fly like a free bird without a care in the world.

Like a bird who isn't afraid to soar higher than the rest.

Because I have dreams.

Dreams so big it'll make your head spin.

You know, my father always told me "Do your best and be your best at everything."

My best isn't perfect. But it's my best.

I give it my all and that's all that matters.

When my heart is set in the right place and my mind has good intentions,

I am ready to take on the world.

One step at a time.

Because when I look at my dreams, I see them taking me places beyond anywhere I could
imagine possible.

Because when I'm doing something I love, I pour out my whole heart and soul into it.

Because my heart is bigger  than a boulder.

If you are falling down, I will catch you.

If you're on the edge of breaking and you're ready to give up, I'll mend those cracks and
hold you,

telling you everything will be alright.

I've been there. I've been where I was broken down and hurt.

But I got up and fought of the monsters and demons who attacked me.

How? How you may ask. How did you get up if you were broken?

I looked at my future with bright starry eye's and said to myself

"I'm so much bigger than this broken mess. I can be so much more. I can do so much more."

So I picked up that ball and shot for the stars.

Who knows if I'll make it to my dreams of many things, or if I'll crash and burn.

But only my future knows what is going to turn out. Because my heart is bigger than a boulder.
