The Heart's Recycling

Recycling is turning trash into later lost, each time losing a little

This law will always remain true even past life's mysterious riddle

Thus eternal life

One of returning nights

Is forever destined to decay

Replacing the fullness of deaths’ glorious day

With the emptiness of material goods

Pondering If only I could

Go back, yet the past hath cast a shadow of light

For what once a fight

Hast turned into hope of a future bright

Thinking what seemed useful

As the proof for future versions fruitful

Holding the past to what is to come hoping it'll cling

Oh what a wishful thing

Worrying not what a true eye sees

Or how to satisfy the mind’s true needs

Because the truth of all ends

Is too much to live, and too much to mend

So lies we fill with the little past that remains

Attempting to forget everything even that we are all the same

Forgetting with minuscule pennies

And fights that are so petty

All a collective disguise

For the disgust of inside

Lying to yourself and the world

Acting as the old

Even though the new is less than claimed

And life is therefore forever changed
