Hearts of stone ...

Proverbs 21:15

15 Doing justice brings joy to the righteous
and terror to those who do evil.

Proverbs 27:20 King James Version (KJV)

20 Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.

Waiting so long for what is coming soon

Will justice be here at last?

A fall and cry... a busted balloon

as fear grinds away at the mind

The system works well breaking stubborn wills

of the guilty and the fallen short

Polluting the hearts of the enforcers of law

who treasure their power in kind

Hearts made of stone formed by time

far past the breaking point

Shaded from light in legalistic form

as shadows become truth after a while

On both sides of the bench blindness rules

as they seem together joined

In their existence in embrace of one another

as they all are in love with beguiled
