Heaven

When I’m alone, I sit and wonder Asking God why, what did I do? Too many rules, can’t even ponder Wondering the number, wondering who Can’t understand how it feels, or after that I pray I go, except the fact Not everyone is chosen, some are denied The day it comes, I will have already cried But my tears will wash away, stored with me Closed inside a box, for which you can’t see Judgment day soon, forget any holiday Just praying you live to see another day The road to hell, that’s a ways down The devil works overtime, He’ll be around When you hear the word heaven, you hope you go Praying that God has mercy, praying he won’t say no The road to heaven, is like a recovery You spend time there healing, Only to be released, to your own sanity. I don’t want to die, but living is limited Hopefully God can open the gates, For the Angels to let me in. A long road that never ends, This is the road, the road to Heaven.
