To Heaven, To Home

Yesterday my heart flew

Up to heaven.

But the angels sent it

Back. More

Work to do they said and

Continued their work.

Work too good for me.

So my heart came back,

My fear sighed with

Relief. Another day to

Improve, it whispered but

My longing

Ached, groaned,

Wished.

My ears heard

My eyes saw

My heart wished for Heaven,

Wished for Home.

Away from sadness,

Away from sin.
