Heaven in my Veins

So alone

Out of time

Wanting to live

Going to die

Cannot breathe

Vision blurs

I cannot run

I’ve dug my grave

The needle sticks

And I go away

My vision clears

As do my lungs

Now I’m safe

Now I’m warm

There is no loneliness

With Heaven in my veins

I write to purge. I write for hope and pain. For love and to keep me sane.
