Heaven Sent

Right here,

In this moment,

Please do not ask me,

“What is wrong?”

For it is a question

I cannot answer.

These tears I’m trying so hard to hold back

Are the words my heart,

And mind,

Cannot say.

I don’t know

What is wrong with me.

I cannot put into words what I am feeling

Because I don’t know what emotions I have,

Or if there is even a word for them.

I’m sorry I am too silent,

And cannot tell you what each tear is for,

Or why they fall down my cheeks.

Right here,

In this moment,

Please do not ask me

“What is wrong?”

For it is a question

I cannot answer.

Instead,

Ask me

“What is right?”

For I have a simple response.

What is right

Is in front of me,

Sitting perfectly on a pedestal,

In a ray of golden light.
