The Heavens Have Blessed Me

My grandmother is my light.

She is my shining star

That makes my world all the more bright!

When she sees me,

She always greets me with a big hug!

She brightens up any room,

Like a bright light!

She’s always full of smiles and laughs galore.

It breaks my heart to see her cry or frown

Because I love her so.

Her smile can light up any room.

It’s as big and bright as the sun.

She has small ringlets

Of white curls

Her eyes shine

Like diamonds in the sun

My grandmother is my life, my love, my heart, my soul.

When we are together,

My world is made whole!
