Heavy Hearted Girls

She’s dancing

Like the worlds got nothing on her

Her laugh so pure

No one could ever measure up

She’s on top of the world

Nothing could make her fall

Nobody sees hows strong she is

How much she fought to be here

Able to dance her heart out

To live her life

Like she’s never felt pain

She had her highs and lows

Just like anyone else

She just doesn’t like to show that she has

They all think she’s just never had hardship

Although she’s had more than most of her age

She knows who she is

And how much she deserves

Won’t take anything less

Even if world hates her for it

She’ll stand up tall

And fight the world

Won’t bow down to many one

She’ll fight alone

If it comes down to it

As long as she doesn’t have to hide herself

She gave away her power

A long time ago

And she fought long and hard to get it all back

As soon as she won

She made herself a promise

That she’d never lose herself again

She knows who she is

And how much she deserve

Won’t bow down to anyone

Won’t surrender and loose herself again

To anyone alive

Cause she knows who she is

She won’t put herself down

She knows who she is

Even if the world doesn’t like it

Yes she knows who she is
