Heavy is the crown
Heavy is the crown of the eldest daughter
Not made of gold but of duty
She was never allowed to fall apart
Because everyone needed her in one piece
Heavy is the role of the practice child.
The fixer of messes
The keeper of peace.
She's a child with a mother's heart
Raised by a mother who carried storms
Yet still became a shelter.
And a father who carried silence
More easily than words
Heavy is the crown of the eldest daughter
Weighed down by the exhaustion in her bones
Heavy is the crown.
