Heavy Metal

Noise that sets my heart ablaze

Sounds that make my eardrums scream

Words that make me want to move

Strings that make my fingers ache

A beat that I can dance to

A song that I can sing

Lyrics that give me power

A melody that rings

A rift that pulls me closer

A sound that calls me forth

Words spoken so loudly

A fuel to my fire

Gods that play among us

Screams that form a song

Something that will never die

Heavy Metal, I hear your call
