On Heavy Seas I Succeed
On Heavy Seas I Succeed
These pirates, they come and go,
They make me wish I could die,
They push me to my edge in eternal agony,
In conjuncture with the wind
They push me down.
All of my life I have fallen;
I have been incapable of success,
However, I have decided to persevere,
I have become unencumbered by my thoughts,
Thoughts that so entangled me are now rejected.
The men who created this terrible torture for me,
Shall now, themselves die.
I am the master of my ship.
I am the captain of my soul.
