Heed My Words
I don’t know if you are here
Listening to every word I say
I don’t know if you understand
What I’m going through
Yes, I understand the way you feel
When someone talks cruelly of you
Still, I ask myself this question:
“Do you think bad thoughts of them?”
I ask of you to heed my words
Don’t pay attention to everything you hear
The way I see it is but a misunderstanding
I ask of you to hear me out
Let them see the real you
I ask of you to heed my words
