The Hegira
Happiness lost within a tired reality
A reality that rather be fiction
Fiction that wishes to be reality
The mind unravels to an unwanted place
a place that's been deferred
What is the real world? I ask
My expression drops
He says, a world in which there’s suffering.
But why?
He says, because reality is what people have to deal with
Our only escape is through thought.
Our only proof of heaven and beyond
Close your eyes
Mend the suffering that makes you real.
Imagine love
Imagine dreams
Imagine freedom
Imagine happiness
Imagine warmth
Imagine life
For you may disappear and be fiction.
