Held in His arms

We are His child.
He knows our name.
We ask, "Why?"
He replies, " Hush my child."
We don't understand.
He holds us in His arms.
We've failed.
He loves.

We walk along.
He walks with us.
We lose hope.
He gives us faith.
We cry.
He holds us in His arms.
We stray away.
He finds us.

We mourn.
He comforts.
We forget.
He remembers.
We shake.
He holds us in His arms.
We scream.
He whispers.

We wonder.
We walk along.
We mourn.
But.
He knows our name.
He walks with us.
He comforts.

He holds us in His arms...
