Helen

Dear Helen,

I enjoy our talks every other week

when I come to visit you.

Every time is like the first,

I've heard all of your stories,

and I might be able to recite them now,

Word for word.

I know when I leave

that you won't remember that I came.

When I come back I'll introduce myself,

you'll do the same.

You live in the Alzheimer's and Dementia home I volunteer at.

You may not know me but I know you,

and I look forward to meeting you,

again and again.

Sincerely a new old friend,

Kilee
