Hell-fire Blaze
The smell of scorching skin fills your lungs as you breathe,
The smoke in the air makes you cough and wheeze,
There's a burning body in the alleyway,
The mass of addiction causes people to stay,
The eyes of your peers are lifeless,
It's like being cornered in a game of chess.
There's no more soul to remain in those bodies,
Only the remnants of a brain are found in these bodies,
The sky is dark and bleached black,
The ground has one whole center with a crack,
The animals are feeding on the intestines of corpses,
They're going through a whole new metamorphosis,
The houses you pass are rickety and old,
The creatures that inhabit them are evil and cold,
There's a light in the distance and you run towards it,
But slowly you stop as you realize something about it,
The light was really a fire,
The limbs on your body begin to tire,
You've been circling in this madhouse of a place for days,
You wonder if you can ever leave this crazy haze,
There's a sinking feeling in your chest as you watch the demolition,
There's a constant crumble of buildings in a pattern of repetition,
Your head starts to throb and ache,
If this is a dream your wishing to wake,
A dark smoke rises from the light,
You know there's no use putting up a fight,
You drop to your knees as the smoke envelopes you,
At this point you know there's nothing you can do,
It swallows you whole and you start to feel empty inside,
Your soul exits your body to run and hide,
Your body begins to burn in agonizing pain,
You have been taken over by the devil's reign,
Your body's burned in a red haze,
You've taken your trip through the hell-fire blaze.
