Hell Valley
He didn’t love her the way she loved him
And they almost knew what love was, just almost
But he had chosen not to love her now
But didn’t know that he couldn’t choose to love her later
And only when he realized that did he begin to feel remorse
And he began to hate himself deep down inside
But she still loved him, the way she had always loved
But she was not sure if he was worth her time
But she decided that he was indeed worth it
And she showed him her light again and they loved again
And they held on to each other for dear life
And he felt lucky because he knew that
Second chances do not come often in Hell Valley.
