Hello

Hello silent emotion,

you are just as introverted as I.

You are a subduction plate,

sliding under my face, never to be seen

You are like a painting concealed by a mask

except you paint mountains and ridges on my face.

They catch the eye of the moon,

therefore, you are not invisible.

Your halo is seen through the mask,

a surge of excitement wanting to weld into an arrow

that’s sting is frozen as the sun.

You could carry Elijah to heaven,

however, you cannot catch this mask aflame.

no, you with your taste of a void

a void because you are gone.
