Hello

Hello

By Phillip C. Klasing

Hello,

You can't hear me,

I'm still hiding from my fear.

I'm lost but not looking,

how to get back there from here.

You're every friend I've ever had,

we laughed like hell and then got mad.

I trusted you, like trust in me,

till one got hurt, we'd disagree.

One step away, turned into ten,

Our memory so much shorter then.

Now I treat time like an unloved dog,

and blame it on the weather,

while waiting for the next in line,

who'll always know me better.
