Hello, Best Friend

That warm, tingling sensation

that one gets when in love with another,

is how I get with you.

No one ever listened to my cries, as much as you.

No ever called me their best friend, other than you.

You and I are dual, and we can take on the world like Mario and Luigi.

You were there for me when my father was ill,

and you were there for when my father was buried into the ground.

Through all the agony, you found a way to make me fall back in love.

You are the love that I need in my life.

When we are apart, I feel the ice in my veins,

the uncontrollable urge to want you.

What is one without a pen and pad?

Where would I go without you near me?

Say it isn't so,

Hello,

Best friend!

Oh, have I missed thee.

I must admit,

I have fallen in love with my own poems.
