Hello Fear
Hello Fear,
Before you sit down, theres something I need to explain.
I should tell you things have changed.
See Im tired of being broken hearted,
So I made a list and your on it.
All of my hopes and my dreams that you stole from me, I want those back, before you leave.
You can have your guilt, shame and depression-
but I'll keep my joy.
Hello Fear,
take a good look at these tears, cause soon they wont fall anymore.
Im no longer afraid, Im better this way.
Oh and one more thing before you leave.
Never again will I love you; my heart refuses to be your friend. So apart from you is where I belong.
Its not me, its you.
Hello Joy,
Its so good to see your face. Im sorry I forgot what your touch feels like. Sorry that fear took your place.
No more will I be afraid, cause see Ive learned-
The Lord is my Light and Salvation- whom shall I fear.
The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid.
