Hello me!

Dear Fourteen year old me,

Hello! It has been a long time since we talked.  I found your picture in my book. I see in your eyes that you are so blue, that someone has tried again just to hurt you. Don’t cry don’t be angry, just walk away, because soon it will be all, just another day.

The girls they gossip the boys they laugh, but soon it will be you thats on the right track. It is hard not to feel when you cannot fit in. But someday you will be mighty, by the stroke of a pen. Keep dreaming, keep trying, never despair. Your religion your skin and even your hair, is what they make fun of those kids over there. So hold your head high move on with your life, keep your head down an use all your might. The time it is coming, your soon out of school, and you will be fine an they will be fools.

Life it is hard, even harder still, when you try and try and don’t fit the bill. So i am writing to give courage, because someone must say dont be discouraged, and welcome a new day! Your beautiful, smart and good at your job, i oughtta know its me that is part, part of the beauty part of the pain, part of the tears with walks in the rain.

I love you, please never forget, let all that noise go, and have not a regret.  Smile, sing, write, and play. Bring joy with you always to each and every day! Trust me!

See you soonest

Your closest friend
