Hello Poetry! Hello World!
How did Poetry introduce itself to me?.
Well, there were
Shel Silverstein's
Robert Frost's
Emily Dickinson's
and
the Transcendentalists'
One poem there, another right here
This and that
but not enough to woo me
not enough to enlighten me
Poetry's introduction is fading away.
But then, I saw her
What a sight to see
What an honor to be
near the presence of
Annabel Lee
What music
What rhythm
What sounds
What elegance
What
emotion
All are brilliant.
If all poetry flow this way,
I would love to be immortal to read all poems
all day, everyday.
How can I thank her?
How can I repay her,
for I never though poetry can be as beautiful and graceful
as her.
She touched my heart
But this Annabel Lee can never be mine,
for she was always the Dreary Poet Edgar Allen Poe's.
His love for her is intense and gorgeous.
Annabel Lee is a poem worthy to remember
Worthy to recite
Worthy to be with Poe
and me
for eternity
Thank you, Poe,
For loving your Annabel Lee.
Be in peace with her
while I continue to read
many poetry.
As well as write.
Let's write!
Let's use rhyme and couplets.
Don't forget the metaphors and similes.
Repetition and alliteration for a musical feel.
But for me,
I don't think what I want to write.
I let the poetry in me flow out.
Don't plan it. Just let your feelings out.
Let your little voice tell a story and guide you into poetry.
That's the beauty of writing poetry.
Let go all the restrictions and rules.
Be alone
Relax.
Smile.
And release your literary imagination and publish
a poem.
Nevertheless,
I'm an amateur writer who is
stubborn to change
cranky at Critics
But that's okay.
I write poetry to change my routine
to release myself artistically.
I will admire those who write poetry everyday,
use such beautiful, eloquence language,
have a unique perspective of the world,
and improve everyday.
As for me,
Let me be
So I can let myself go
and remember his Annabel Lee.
