Hell’s Gate

Feels like I could just shut it all down, fall backwards to the sky, and let myself drown, still I need you around, so I sit here so dark, searching for my crown, fighting for my spark, where did they hide the secrets of fate, rip my heart out to unlock this gate, drop the walls, melt my clock, this love my dear never could wait,  screaming in silence, calls all on block, battle wounds, run or crawl, no aftershock, smash it down, stand up tall, either way, we seem so small, til darkness fades, and we resurface, a grin ripped from the devil, on the wings of our curses.
