The Help

Sniffling, crying, screaming,

Searching for the savior dressed in white wires

Knowing the trail of joy has expired

But once the play button is pressed,

Alternate universes of understanding blast through my soul washing away the worst,

Goosebumps rising, nerves calming,

Telling me tomorrow will be better,

Telling me today is not the day to give up,

Wipe your tears now cause mom is calling.
