HELP
It's definately true that we need to make our mortal selves happy
We just want to make sure that there's a smile on our face.
Through all these "it's all about how I feel" times we tend to forget what it means to love that neighbor as yourself.
Little John sits in the corner of his room with his hands held tightly against his ears to keep the dark noise from downstairs from reaching his already grieving soul. In the cold corner he sits with his feet bent towards his body. Tears flowing down his cheeks as he tries to make himself believe that everything will be alright when he knows very well that everything is not going to be alright. Right now the screaming is getting louder. His drug addict parents are fighting in the living room. Whiles Screaming at each other, his mum yells at his dad saying "How could you put in me a child of no use. A **** meant for nothing good". After hearing this he takes a deep breath and continues to tell himself that everything will be alright. Suddenly there is sound class shattering, object falling to the ground , then a loud scream. O LORD HOW LONG CAN I TAKE THIS? HOW LONG CAN MY HOLD TOGETHER. HOW LONG AM I GOING IN THIS LONELY CORNER. I NEED HELP.!!! SOMEBODY!! anybody.... Then suddenly there was silence. Absolute silence. Five days later he is found dead in his room. Next to him is a note which reads " I could not take it anymore. I wanted help and it never came." Little John waited for help and it never came.It never camr because nobody bothered to find out what was wrong. He came to you to talk but you never gave him a chance. He needed a friend and you shunned him away because he waS just not your class. He sat alone in his corner drowned in anger and pain in his tattered shirt and his "everywhere you go " shoes cause no one even bothered to find out wether he was even sane. After all one man for himself God for us all .He fought this battle single handed with a kitchen knife for a sword and a saucer as a shield. See what happened.See what your ignorance has done to him.And oh yeah at the end of the day we say "the Lord does everything for a reason".
sigh
Many people like Little John revolve around our worlds; in church, At home, at work, in a bus, at school but due to our supersonic ego we tend to ignore them.
Like they never existed. I write this on behalf of the broken hearted, the depressed, the traumatised people, and the other troubled people who need someone around them to put a smile on their face and assure them that everything will be alright.
Be a life saver today and let that person in the dark corner be filled with joy because you care.It just takes a bold step and a smile to calm a soul which is mile.
