Help from Above

Here I sit in the sand

on an unfamiliar piece of land

The loneliness is kicking in

the feeling I believe is because of my sin

The reason why, I do not know

but memories of my childhood come and go.

My mother once told me to never fear

Because the Great One above is always near.

He is there during the day

when I can't find somewhere to lay.

He is there during the night

when I have lost all my sight.

He is there when I'm feeling famished

and through His Grace he gives me a lamb dish.

He is as graceful as a white dove

He is my help from above.
