Help Her Get Away

She hasn't been happy Only a progression of sadness A Dark past makes her present seem Narrowly dim She's tired of getting hurt by them Tired of her shedding her silent tears Never do I want to see you cry Passion for her has bleached into my heart like t shirt dye I know I can't save her from this world initially But I rather try and give her happiness and empathy One of these days I'll help her get away
