Help The Homeless

Location

Walking down the sidewalk and all I can see

Is the sad old man looking at me.

He begs and pleads

Sitting on his knees.

My heart breaks

My whole body starts to ache.

This man lives in the street,

Usually can't even find something to eat.

His long dirty hair,

The everyday same clothes to wear.

Laying on the cold floor,

People walk by and ignore.

I quickly handed him some money,

The man suddenly became happy.

One nice gesture made his day,

I wish I could make it everyday.

It definitely isn't fair.

I CARE.
