Help Me

I understand you have stress,

but you need to know I do, too.

Yelling, bossing, antagonizing,

will do nothing but make me want to scream in your face

and not do my work

and give up hope

and lose all confidence

and hope to God I don't end up where you are.

Yelling at children for not doing their work,

for giving up hope,

for losing all confidence,

because you see the potential, but don't know how to tap into it.

I understand you have stress,

but you need to know, you give it to me, too.
