Help Me Help You

24 hours in a day

How many seconds must fly away
Every one the same as the last
Every time I remember how it went by too fast

So many memories to cherish
And yet there's never enough in fairness
I only wish for one more day to hold you
But I'd never let go if I'm being true

I write these poems to cope
Cause I feel empty and mope
I simply wish to make you happy
I just can't stand seeing you sad and feeling crappy
