I lived in Syria for too long.

We never been free or too strong.

One day we screamed for freedom in the streets.

Reaction began with shooting and a bunch of sheets.

President made a speech on air.

Explained to the people how they will fail.

For freedom the people kept fighting.

The government on its side kept shooting.

And Death upon us all was standing.

Wasn’t easy for me to see Death around.

And people were helpless and bound.

I wished for some way to help the country.

My parents after all decided to send me.

Finishing my education is now my goal.

Then go back and help Syria as a whole.

I never thought I would enter into an emotion.

But stress and anger were all my fortune.

Then I remembered my only goal.

Is to help Syria as a whole.

I had faith in my heart and went on.

Finished my year without joke or fun.

Now am a senior completing my education.

Hoping for college to study international relation.

Is the only way to fulfill my goal.

And help Syria as a whole.
