A helping hand

this must be the season of dark times

i cant see much in this little light of mine

i cant do this by myself

i know i need a helping hand

so i surrender my selfish prideful ways

I say HELP here i am, can you see me now

little me that rejected the hand

said i could do it by myself

now you look for help and no ones around

hoping theyll forgive the days of my youth

and put the past and the past to make strides toward the truth
