Helpless

Helpless, oh mercy be thy name, of a cold soul, in the brightest of light. For Have your wings not touched the heavens yet? Have pity on a wandering messenger in the middle of night. Demons may call his name for him to blindly pick up where its coming from. Stumbling off a path you gave him, to never step barefoot on again. To be in comfort and alone all at once. Where did the child go holding god's promises in his hand? He chased his dreams to the end of the world. Now you wander with beasts, monsters in the night. A woman calls your name and you answer. Is it her? Have you left god for the devil's hand in fortune? Oh how lost you are my child, to seek wisdom from those who hurt you.
