Helpless

Her memory still lingers in the corners of my mind and I Can almost smell her perfume as it permeates the air

So close, so close yet so far - I have no chance of submissive recovery or do I want to forget or feel less of her presence

I know, out of this sphere or any other place in time, shall I ever find another who could compare to such promise of love or life’s promised annuity

I guess time will tell - or maybe not
