Her


She's choking now, she's wondering how

a grown man keeps lashing out. That's what he's all about.

He downs the booze. He's got nothing to lose.

He tells her he tries, she's sick of the lies.

He bruises her face, she's ready to leave that place.

She jumps out the cold steel window. She hears his voice as the wind blows.

She's all alone. The breeze chills her to the bone.

She runs as fast as she can. She goes until she just can't stand.

Waiting for her at the park is a ghost white chariot standing out in the dark.

She climbs in as she starts to cry.  Her mind tells her she's ready to die.
