But Her?

It's another night for them But her? She's new Anticipating what comes next Their faces seem long Longer than the hours left waiting They do this as if it's regular In dead robotic motions Everyone sees nothing Only what's needed What they want What they'll take But her? She's nervous Not one one limb is still This isn't right She isn't ready Too late He's here His interest is in the anxiousness he builds A rough smile that foreshadows trouble Blind to impeding crisis she gets in the car He knows the regular He knows what he wants But her? She thought it would be quick and a little shameful How naive she was She wasn't quite ready So he took what he wanted Then an unexpected more Left a 5 dollar bill And the words "what a waste of money" In a isolated hotel On a ratty bed she was left alone with a empty whole Crying But her? She was no different now. Just as dead as the rest
