her

Mentally ill or mentally gifted

She is given prescription pills for a mind that's shifted

She just wishes this weight on her heart will be lifted

They said they love her she just wishes they meant it

Maybe she should tell someone wrap it up in a letter and send it

When she was younger her mind was a blank slate

Filled with happiness joy

Now she’s treated like a toy

Played with like a game

Oh what a shame she is treated this way

On and on everyday

Broken promises

Broken mind

But don’t get twisted she is one of a kind

She will survive this twisted maze

She will get out of this cage
