Her

All she ever wanted was love

And even when ir seemed so close

She realized it was simply an illusion

and it's never her heartn anybody's ever really choosing

She seems to have a light that shines to all

But little do they know

The only reason the light illuminates on the outside is because it's running from the darkness

that consumes her insides

She cries ohhhhh how she cries

Cuz all her life she's been fed nothing but lies

From her momma and her daddy

All the way down to the dudes that she's dated

At this point for her it's forget love

I hate it

Why even bother man

Cuz people messed her over when all she really needed was a helping hand

And a shoulder to cry on before depression consumed her

But everyone that came around only wanted to use her

They came to benefit themselves and didn't really about what she was left

Especially that night her older cousin left her with that ripped dress
